Petrol prices in Pakistan are expected to see a massive decrease in the next fortnightly prices effective from 16 October 2023, with initial estimates suggesting a per liter rate of Rs. 286 per liter, a decrease of Rs. 41 per liter from the current price.
This is due to a combination of factors, including a decline in international oil prices, a stronger Pakistani Rupee, and Russia’s move to lift the ban on pipeline diesel exports.
If this decrease in petrol prices materializes, it will come as a huge relief to consumers who have been burdened by high fuel costs in recent months.
